This is the kind of picture that it would be easy to make up a story about, isn’t it? Perhaps you might imagine that the dogs collected these balls from all over the neighborhood. Or that the bigger dog is trying to keep the smaller dog away from them. Or that their person decided to surprise her ball-loving dogs with a whole bag of balls. But no matter what you think, if you don’t know these particular dogs and the circumstances that led up to this picture, anything you thought would be a guess. On the other hand if you were skilled in anamnesis–the subject of this week’s podcast–that wouldn’t happen.
