In biology, ecology is the study of the way organisms relate to each other and their physical environments. The term comes from the Greek word, oikos, which means “house”.  This week’s podcast explores animal problems unique to more affluent parts of the world where people possesses more leisure time and money to enjoy themselves. When this occurs, it’s easy to ignore how this affects the natural eco-house that surrounds our human-made homes. Other times, the results of this are so obvious even to those remote from nature can notice them. But how we respond to them may differ.

Below are pictures of some of the wild animal and plant life discussed in this podcast.
