Companion animal ick is also known as pee, poop, barf, farts, and perceived deviant sexual behaviors. Consequently, it’s a subject that generates more than its share of mixed human responses. It makes some people angry and others gag and run for the nearest exit. Other times it makes people religious, causing them to pray that their eyes, ears, or noses are deceiving them. The ick really doesn’t exist. Or maybe they pray that some angel suddenly will appear with the necessary cleaning solutions and make the ick go away.
