On-line companion animal behavior and bond surveys can teach us a lot, but some may create data-collection challenges too. When I attempt to complete some surveys, I feel like Bamboo with his fascination for my ancient dictionary. He seems so into those words and images at first, but soon loses interest. So do I when I realize that I can’t provide whatever information the survey’s creators hope to collect, no matter how much I want to help them.
